Cohoes Fire Site RFP Announced

On February 8, 2024, the Cohoes Industrial Development Agency released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for development of a prime real estate property located at 222-230 Remsen Street and 23 Columbia Street in Cohoes, NY.

This RFP includes 6 parcels, at the location of the Remsen Street fire of November 2018.

Today, the lots are mostly vacant due to the fire. The only building that still stands on these lots is an old auto service and filling station that dates back as early as 1939.

6 years after the fire, these lots are ready for development.
